Cr Dawson is the owner of a transport company based in Dalwallinu. He has lived in Dalwallinu for over 25 years and raised his family there. Shannon has a genuine passion for improvement and progress within the Shire and is approachable and communicative and wants to continue to represent the wider community in moving forward on many pressing Shire issues. He would like to continue to be a voice for the people in the Shire. During his time on Council he has been approachable and brought many issues from the community to Council to be debated and voted on.
Cr Dawson was elected to Council in 2024. His term will expire in October 2029.
