Cr Carter is a broadacre farmer who has lived in Dalwallinu Shire his entire life, raised a family here and still actively farms here. Keith really enjoys serving the community and ratepayers of Dalwallinu. He strives to see the services for locals steadily improve especially families and the growing number of seniors and retirees. He wants to see the main arterial roads maintained to a high standard as well as safe travel of passenger vehicles.
He really enjoys serving the community and ratepayers of Dalwallinu and believes the sporting and recreational facilities need to be maintained in a good condition to encourage participation in all forms of recreation.
Keith wants to see the medical services at Dalwallinu continue at least at the level they are now and would like to see other specialists and dental services come to Dalwallinu.
Cr Carter was elected to Council in 2011. He served as Deputy President from 2015 to 2021. He was elected President in October 2021.

Cr Harms is a schoolteacher and Deputy Principal at Dalwallinu District High School who started her teaching career in Kalannie in 2007, after studying as a mature age student. She worked in Kalannie for 8 years, 4 1/2 of those as Principal of Kalannie Primary School. In 2005 she began working at Dalwallinu DHS as Deputy Principal. This has afforded her the opportunity to be part of two communities in the Shire.
She is passionate about her local community and has always been actively involved in volunteering. She currently holds the position of President of the Kalannie Sporting & Recreation Club (Inc.). The hub of all our sporting associations and community groups.
Melissa wants to be a voice for smaller towns and a supporter of growth and development throughout the Dalwallinu Shire. Cr Harms was elected to Council in 2019 and was elected Deputy President in 2025.

Cr Counsel is a farmer from Wubin who is married with 3 daughters. She has lived in the Dalwallinu district all her adult life after attending school at Dalwallinu District High School and boarding school in Perth.
She has held positions on various committees including Playgroup, Dance, Childcare, Liebe Group Management and Women’s Committee and volunteered for Dalwallinu CWA, Dalwallinu P&C and Dalwallinu Football and Hockey Club.
Jemma is excited and passionate about the future of the Dalwallinu Shire as a whole and its role in the wider wheatbelt region.
Cr Counsel was elected to Council in 2021.

Cr Cream has been a resident of Dalwallinu for many years. She have worked in Dalwallinu and is also a member of the Bowling Club.
Over the years she has seen many wonderful projects and initiatives delivered by our Council. She would like to drive further improvement within our Shire and one of the needs she sees is for Aged services. Diane would like to see improved housing and access to home services for the aged. She feels she has represented the community to the best of her ability but feels that there is always room for improvement.
Cr Cream was elected to Council in 2021.

Cr Dawson is the owner of a transport company based in Dalwallinu. He has lived in Dalwallinu for over 25 years and raised his family there. Shannon has a genuine passion for improvement and progress within the Shire and is approachable and communicative and wants to continue to represent the wider community in moving forward on many pressing Shire issues. He would like to continue to be a voice for the people in the Shire. During his time on Council he has been approachable and brought many issues from the community to Council to be debated and voted on. Cr Dawson was elected to Council in 2024. His term will expire in October 2029.

Cr Hickleton has been an active community member in Dalwallinu for many years. He has served on multiple recreational committees and has developed an understanding of the challenges in regional WA. His aim is to help create a stimulated, healthy and safe environment for all to enjoy. His desire to serve is strongly driven by his young family who enjoy the many facilities of the Shire, which he wishes to help develop and grow. He has the belief that we can always find ways to grown. Cr Hickleton was elected to Council in October 2025. His term will expire in October 2027.
