The Shire of Dalwallinu is committed to supporting community run local events.  We have well established community groups who run very succesful events that have increasingly become a highlight of the wheatbelt calendar.  Why not check out the latest events in Dalwallinu?

With the huge success of the Shire of Dalwallinu Australia Day Bush Breakfast in 2011, we are running it again in 2012 to celebrate our Active Citizens in the Community.  It will be held on Thursday 26th January 2012 at the Dalwallinu Memorial Park, Johnston St from 8am to 10am. Come down and find out the winners of the Premiers Australia Day Active Citizens award which will be awarded on the day. There are two categories which will present winners; Over 25's and Community Groups.

Movies in Motion have continued to be a hit throughout 2011, with recent releases movies a hit with everyone. The Dalwallinu Discovery Centre's amphitheatre provides a great location with for an open air movie theatre! Look out for updates on our website or posters for the latest Movies in Motion nights.

The Dalwallinu Lions Club organise our local community markets in Memorial Park, Dalwallinu, as well as being heavily involved in events & sports throughout the year. Be sure to come down to peruse the stalls for a bargain!!

The hugely successful Dalwallinu & Districts Agricultural Show will be held on Saturday 25 August 2012. It is one date to make sure is on your calendar. Check out the dally show website for more information 

The Dalwallinu Tourism group organise our "world famous in Dalwallinu" Wattle Week which is now in its 18th year. It will start on Saturday 8 September and run until Saturday 15 September 2012. There is plenty of things to do during Wattle Week, watch out for the program for all the events!
