The shire’s range of modern plant and equipment operated by trained and experienced staff is available for private works hire. Current hire rates for graders, loaders, trucks, backhoe and other plant are available from the administration.

Local Roads

The Shire is responsible for local roads and town streets within The Shire (with the exception of the state roads listed below). Should you experience any problems or report any hazards, please notify The Shire on (08) 9661 0500 during work hours. For emergency situations (such as roads flooded or blocked by fallen trees), please contact the Shire Manager of Works, Allister Butcher on 0407 253 797 or Chief Executive Officer on 0427 611 001.

Northam Pithara Road
Wubin Mullewa Road
