Recreation Facilities

A synthetic bowling green, synthetic grass tennis courts with lights and netball and basketball courts are provided at the Kalannie Sports Club. A hockey field, football oval, an 18 hole golf course and badminton courts are also available. The sports club is also licensed. Please see Leisure for contact details for the sporting clubs. Airstrip

Located near townsite on Melbin Drive.

Town Hall

Located on Roche Street. Bookings can be made at the Shire on (08) 9661 1001.

Rubbish Tip

Located approximately 6kms west of the townsite on Cottage Road.

Chemical Container Compound

Adjacent to the old sanitary land fill site on the Pithara Road is a compound in which chemical containers may be deposited during DrumMUSTER programs. Council has joined DrumMUSTER and access to the compound is restricted to these events. Please contact the Shire on (08) 9661 1001 for details regarding the next DrumMuster or to register your interest.
