Exclusive to Western Australia, the statewide awards are designed to acknowledge and reward local residents and groups for their contribution to community life and their active participation in local projects. A part of the Australia Day family of awards, the Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards focuses on community contribution and participation rather than personal achievement.

The Shire of Dalwallinu is urging residents to nominate an inspiring community member or group from your area for an award to be presented at a ceremony on Australia Day - 26 January.

The three awards highlight active citizenship, outstanding contribution to the local community and Australian pride and spirit.

Choose the one that suits your nominee: 
Premier's Australia Day Active Citizen Award
Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Award for a person under 25 years
Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Award for a community group or event.
